Lily is a Little Bucks Basketball Fiend

Lily loves basketball.  This is her first year and she is on a team with six other girls from her school.  They are definitely not due for the draft anytime soon, but they have fun and play until they are too pooped to do anything else.  It is so much fun to watch them, in their six year-old bodies, trying to make it up and down the court without mauling the girls on the other team.  Matt says it is a lot like watching the blind leading the blind.  That may give you a better idea about what we watch every game.  We have one more game and the final tournament and we are done for the year.  Lily is already planning next year's season and we are excited!

Bunnies, bunnies, everywhere!!!

Our very good friends, the Jacobs, are the proud new parents of 7 baby bunnies.  We went over and held them and fed them sweet potatoes.  The girls would have brought ALL of them home, but we were not convinced that was a good idea.  They were very cute though.  Nora tried to force feed one or two, but they ran for cover and made it out alive.  We had two favorites named "Jimmy FastPants" and "Spot".  Anyone interested in a bunny.  They are wanting people to adopt them.....

Snowmobiling at Meacham

We had fun this past Saturday when we joined my mom and dad up on their 5 acres at Meacham, Oregon.  There was about 30 inches of snow for us to play in and the snowmobiling was fun too.  It rained on us for a while and then snowed and then stopped and then rained again.  I don't think anything short of a tornado would have dampened their spirits.  Needless to say, the girls absolutely LOVED it.  We have only had snow in Pendleton once this year and it was in late November.  We stupidly believed that more snow would follow, but it hasn't.  We may actually wake up to 1/2 inch in the morning if we are lucky (and the forecast is actually correct).  We plan on going back to play soon to enjoy the snow before it is all gone.
